the angel spins off hope
diving through the glass sky
never flapping her wings once
she waits
letting the glass carve her into a vibrant red rose
where is love? spells the moon
still waiting
stars float away from her doll like face
shunning the truth the moon spouts
she only absorbs the ice and fire that rains down
she will wait
her wings start to decay
as her white dress evaporates into lies
she looks back
her soft lips sing
why did i ever let go of hope
